Nephrologist Acute and chronic kidney diseases Identification of the role of macrophages in rhabdomyolysis-induced kindey injury (JASN 2015) Immune landscaping in kidney
Role of macrophages in transition from acute kidney injury to chronic kidney disease and impact of immunosenescence.
We are currently studying the role of macrophages in rhabdomyolysis-induced acute kidney injury. We wish to compare the impact of ageing on immune responses in this context and identify senolytic thanks to drug repositioning.
Animal and cellular models:
Mice models of acute kidney injury (rhabdomyolysis, ischemia reperfusion)
